Cave Canem Faculty Read at City of Asylum/Pittsburgh

Enjoy an evening of poetry al fresco with acclaimed poets Lyrae Van Clief-Stefanon, Kevin Young and Evie Shockley at City of Asylum/Pittsburgh. Van Clief-Stefanon is the author of Black Swan, winner of the 2001 Cave Canem Poetry Prize; and Open Interval, a 2009 finalist for the National Book Award. Shockley’s several collections of poetry include the new black, a Hurston-Wright Legacy Award winner. Young has published 11 books of poetry and prose, most recently, Blue Laws: Selected & Uncollected Poems 1995-2015. A book signing follows. Wheelchair accessible.
